Providing Essential Care
Support The Rainbow Room
The Rainbow Room provides emergency access to essential items for children and families, 24/7/365. All goods are new, provided through donations or purchased with donated funds. The Rainbow Room is entirely volunteer-run and receives no state or federal funding.
Items Always Needed for the Wood County Rainbow Room:
- Diapers and Wet Wipes – all sizes
- New clothing, undergarments, and shoes for girls & boys
- Personal hygiene items
- Infant Car Seats and Pack N Plays
- Household cleaning supplies

We are always looking for volunteers, donors, and new board members who want to help make a difference.
Volunteers, Board Members, and Donors are a vital part of our mission, helping to provide a caring service to children and their family members. We’re excited and grateful that you are interested in giving back to the children and families we serve.
Requirements to become a Board Member:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Complete a volunteer application
- Complete and pass background checks
- Upon background check clearance, be available for an interview
- Attend Monthly Board Meetings prior to official appointment
Board Meetings:
2nd Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM
